Sport is an educational tool which promotes very positive values for society. With this in mind, UFEC created the ‘Aixíjugo’ Campaign in 2016 which aims to promote sport and a respectable practice of sport through sportsmanship and values.
Sport acts as the mirror which the young and the not-so-young look into. Unfortunately, they often see situations which can be interpreted as negative behaviour such as aggressive attitudes amongst fans or fights between athletes reflected back at them. These actions compel us to defend sportsmanship as a universal value which is necessary for society and worth promoting.
